Expanding Our Technology Ecosystem: From Consumer Radar to Defense

Radenso might be a newer name in the defense industry, but we are certainly not new to signal-detecting. For more than a decade, our team has been designing some of the world’s most advanced consumer radar detectors. That experience unexpectedly opened the door to defense when our YouTube videos caught the attention of professionals working in Counter-UAS. They recognized that the AI-powered radar technology we had recently patented for the consumer market had the potential to become a game-changing capability for defense applications.

Less than a year later, we found ourselves with our first government contract. It has been a whirlwind getting to know this new world, and exhilarating for our team to push our capabilities farther and farther. We are, at our core, an engineering company. Our team consists of our Founder and CEO, Jon Dandrow; our Director of Sales, Jason Maudlin; approximately a dozen passionate engineers; and a dedicated group of project managers who keep our efforts coordinated and our mission on track. We started by engineering innovative consumer products, and today we're building on that foundation—continuing to advance our consumer technology while developing defense solutions beyond anything we originally imagined.

So why does it matter that we continue to build consumer products alongside our defense solutions? Simply put, anyone can build a prototype. Selling products to thousands of paying customers proves not only that the technology works in the real world, but that you can manufacture it, support it, and continuously improve it at scale. We have experience designing products that operate reliably in harsh, real-world environments. We are experts at developing products that are portable, easy-to-use and low-cost to manufacture. Those same design principles continue to guide everything we build, whether it's destined for a consumer vehicle or a defense application. Many defense startups have great ideas but have never gained the experience that comes from actually building products at scale, and moving those products. We are intimately familiar with the processes of sourcing components, managing suppliers, quality control and handling the logistics of producing thousands of units. This translates to delivering mission-critical technology to warfighters faster, more efficiently, and at a lower cost. And because we continue to innovate in both markets, every advancement strengthens the foundation for the next.

That’s what led us to creating the first modular, full-stack platform for building disruptive deep-tech products quickly. We buy defense-grade parts others can’t afford, let alone deploy- enabled by our consumer volumes. Then we turn them into plug-and-play modules we can snap together to launch advanced capabilities in weeks- but price it like consumer tech. When we enter a vertical, it’s like bringing a rocket ship to a drag race. We’d like to introduce you to Samplebeast- a reconfigurable edge RF computer that turns sensor-fusion concepts into field capability: fast, scalable, attritable.
