Radenso Labs’ Performance in EXTiC 26-2, Hosted by DIU in Partnership with CENTCOM

Radenso Labs is thrilled to announce our success at the EXTiC 26-2 experimentation in Playas, New Mexico hosted by DIU in partnership with CENTCOM. It was a truly unique experience that pushed our team and our tech to new capabilities and allowed great opportunities to connect with other disruptors in this space.

Out of the 149 organizations that submitted white papers in hopes to attend, 23 were selected to be onsite at Playas to show their technology to a variety of stakeholders from both the government and private sectors. Radenso Labs was privileged to be among the chosen participants.

We sent four members of our team to the experimentation: our CEO, Jon Dandrow; our Director of Sales; Jason Maudlin, AI/ML Engineer Sam Coons and Mechanical Engineer Tom Taylor.

Over the course of the demonstration at Playas, the team was faced with a number of obstacles. Samplebeast had never been asked to operate in such harsh conditions. The ambient temperature was in excess of 105 degrees Fahrenheit, paired with nonexistent humidity and high winds. The results were extraordinarily encouraging. The two drones the team brought to the experimentation were being detected by Samplebeast at distances of over 6 miles and at low altitudes consistent with how a threat may be piloted. This was all done with a single antenna and Samplebeast running at sub 13w.

In addition to detecting our own drones at a significant distance, Samplebeast was easily able to detect and alert the operator to the presence of other drones that were being evaluated by other companies. This is significant because it shows that our training methodology employed is strong, and new threats are being detected in addition to familiar threats. Operators of this technology will expect it to perform consistently against a threat landscape that is rapidly evolving and changing. This is where Samplebeast stands apart with its library-free training models.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), and the entire EXTiC 26-2 team for organizing such a valuable and well-executed event. Opportunities like this are instrumental in accelerating innovation, as well as fostering collaboration across industry and government, and ensuring emerging technologies are evaluated in realistic operational environments. We are grateful to have been included and look forward to continuing to support the mission with capabilities that help address tomorrow's challenges.
